Football Recap: Mars Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Mars had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Beaver Bobcats to the tune of 42-7. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Fightin' Planets just coasted through the last quarter.

Mars' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabe Hein, who picked up 142 receiving yards and four scores. Hein showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 50 yards. Hunter Schroder also helped out as he racked up 106 rushing yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mars will venture away from home to challenge Bethel Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaver, they will head out to square off against Blackhawk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
