Volleyball Recap: Magnificat Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Lindsey Murphy and Kailey Snow

Magnificat lost against Mason back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Streaks fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1.

Magnificat's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kailey Snow, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Lindsey Murphy, who had seven digs and one assist.

Magnificat's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Mason, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magnificat will challenge Ursuline Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mason, they will square off against Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
