Basketball Recap: North Garland's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

North Garland entered their game against Naaman Forest on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The North Garland Raiders fell 62-54 to the Naaman Forest Rangers. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 58-56 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Garland's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-7. As for Naaman Forest, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-13.

North Garland and Lone Star will round out the year against one another at at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Lone Star knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully North Garland likes a good challenge. As for Naaman Forest, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sachse at 2:30 p.m. on December 31st.
