Chillicothe won the last time they faced Jackson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ironman/Ironladies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Chillicothe not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Jackson between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Evelyn Hamman paced Chillicothe's offense, picking up 22 kills. Hamman got some help from Isabella Witte and her 37 assists. Natalie Dudley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Chillicothe's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Jackson, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

Chillicothe and Jackson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Cavaliers will challenge Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (226 vs. 96). Meanwhile, Jackson (ranked 457th) will meet Zane Trace (ranked 110th) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
