Soccer Recap: Summit International Prep Triumphs

Summit International Prep was handed a six-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hampton Prep 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in February.

Summit International Prep hit Hampton Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aiden Avila, Adrian Ochoa, and Emmanuel Ogunwusi.

Summit International Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Hampton Prep, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Summit International Prep and Hampton Prep will both be playing Village Tech the next time they take the pitch. Summit International Prep will host Village Tech at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hampton Prep will host them at 11:15 a.m. on March 8th.
