Kenly Brown posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Brown and Southern Guilford will square off against Rockingham County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brown has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 6 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Cougars have only allowed 1.6 per game this season.
