Basketball Recap: Del Valle Conquistadores vs. El Dorado Aztecs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hanks, Del Valle was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 42-37 win over the El Dorado Aztecs. This was a revenge game for the Conquistadores: when they faced off against the Aztecs back in January, they had to take a 50-46 loss.
El Dorado lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hannah Hicks, who posted six points and 13 rebounds. Hicks is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Contreras, who put up nine points.
