Softball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-3 to the Jackson Timberwolves. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Morgan Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those stolen bases were her first of the season.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jackson, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Monroe on the 31st. As for Jackson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Lake Stevens on the 3rd.
