Volleyball Recap: Floresville Tigers vs. Fredericksburg Billies

Floresville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Fredericksburg Billies on Thursday as the Floresville Tigers made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won 14 matchups in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Lyla Smith, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last seven games.

Floresville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 19 consecutive contests.
