Football Recap: Tupper Lake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tupper Lake played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 36-12 to the Thousand Islands Vikings. The defeat leaves the Lumberjacks still looking for their first win of the season.

Loss or not, Tupper Lake got some senior leadership from Cohen Gerstenberger and Liam McClain. Gerstenberger gained 77 total yards and a touchdown, while McClain rushed for 93 yards and one score.

Tupper Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Thousand Islands, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Tupper Lake will take on Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lumberjacks will be up against the Comets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Thousand Islands, they will face off against Bishop Grimes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
