Basketball Recap: West Sioux Comes Up Short

West Sioux lost against West Monona back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Sioux Falcons fell 60-49 to the West Monona Spartans.

West Sioux has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for West Monona, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

West Sioux wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-51 victory against Alta-Aurelia on the 30th. As for West Monona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-54 loss against Ar-We-Va on the 28th.
