Softball Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

Calhoun and Carrollton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Calhoun had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Hawks. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Calhoun saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Pelletier, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Carrollton, their win was their 38th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 35-1.

Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollton, they will face off against Havana at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Ducks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
