Basketball Game Preview: Wayne City Indians vs. Cisne Runnin' Lions

Wayne City is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to take on the Cisne Runnin' Lions at 6:00 p.m. Wayne City has given up an average of 62.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wayne City's last matchup with Norris City-Omaha-Enfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Indians lost 68-46 to the Fighting Cardinals. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cisne had to suffer through a 70-35 loss at the hands of Dieterich. The Runnin' Lions haven't had much luck with the Movin Maroons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Cisne's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wayne City, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Wayne City against Cisne when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 63-28 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Runnin' Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
