Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Brodhead

Brodhead won the last time they faced Albany and things went their way on Monday too. The Brodhead Cardinals took down the Albany Comets 63-44. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cardinals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Comets are ranked 169th).

Brodhead is facing Milwaukee Lifelong Learning at the right time seeing as Milwaukee Lifelong Learning is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Albany, they are taking a road trip to challenge Parkview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Parkview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
