Basketball Game Preview: Dorman Cavaliers vs. North Oconee Titans

The Dorman Cavaliers and the North Oconee Titans will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Dorman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Dorman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Alexander, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (Dorman was ranked 14th). Dorman came out on top against Alexander by a score of 60-52 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, North Oconee came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 66-48 win over the Falcons.

North Oconee pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Dorman, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
