Softball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett dropped their record down to 10-3 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Lynn Classical Rams by a score of 12-11. The Crimson Tide were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

As for Lynn Classical, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games.

For Lynn Classical's part, Neveah Eth was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave Eth a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooke Braswell, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will challenge Medford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lynn Classical, they will face off against Melrose at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
