Volleyball Recap: Lawrence-Nelson Comes Up Short

Lawrence-Nelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the High Plains Storm. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Storm from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Brynn Harrison paced Lawrence-Nelson's offense, picking up four kills. Harrison really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddy Laughlin, each putting up two.

Lawrence-Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for High Plains, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Lawrence-Nelson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mead on the 27th. As for High Plains, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Southern Valley on the 27th.
