Basketball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Drops Season-High Score on Whitwell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Whitwell Tigers 96-41. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts to victory were Landon Caldwell and Carter Smith. Caldwell posted 21 points, while Smith had 22 points. Those 22 points gave Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Heisig, who earned 15 points.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.0 points over those games. As for Whitwell, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coming up, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts will face off against Chattanooga Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitwell, they will take on Bledsoe County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
