Football Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. San Fernando Tigers

Reseda is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will venture away from home to face off against the San Fernando Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Reseda's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three games, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Reseda lost 32-6 to Taft on Monday.

Meanwhile, San Fernando beat Sylmar 27-19 on Thursday.

San Fernando's win came from a few key players Reseda will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Fatima Palafox, who threw for 245 yards and four TDs while completing 71.4% of her passes. Her passing game has become a key predictor of San Fernando's success: the team is undefeated when her passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-6 otherwise. Kaylie Lowe was Palafox's top target, picking up 99 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Reseda's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for San Fernando, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.
