Volleyball Game Preview: Vail Mountain Rangers vs. Meeker Cowboys

Vail Mountain hasn't had much luck against Meeker recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rangers are taking a road trip to face off against the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, Vail Mountain didn't have quite enough to beat Colorado Springs Christian and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Meeker made easy work of Olathe on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Meeker not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Olathe between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Meeker's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Vail Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Vail Mountain might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Meeker in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
