Volleyball Recap: West Delaware Takes a Loss

West Delaware entered their matchup against Grundy Center on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hawks fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

West Delaware's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Grundy Center, their win bumped their record up to 24-4.

West Delaware has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Linn-Mar on the 27th. As for Grundy Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Hardin on the 30th.
