Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Carnegie

20 must be Carnegie's lucky number: they beat Burns Flat-Dill City with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Wildcats beat the Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 20-6. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Carnegie, bringing their record up to 14-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Carnegie has already played their next game (against Riverside Indian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Burns Flat-Dill City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
