Volleyball Recap: Joshua Owls vs. Everman Bulldogs
There's no place like home for Joshua, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Everman Bulldogs on Friday as the Joshua Owls made off with a 3-0 victory. The Owls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-12.
Morgan Collier paced Joshua's offense, picking up 18 kills. Collier got some help from
Braedyn Holland and her 33 assists. Holland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Joshua is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 27-14 record this season. As for Everman, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-17.
Joshua wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Burleson on the 29th. Everman has also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Mansfield Summit on the 29th.
