Soccer Recap: Spotsylvania Comes Up Short

Spotsylvania managed to keep up with Courtland until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights came up short against the Cougars, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Spotsylvania couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the loss, Spotsylvania broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4-1. As for Courtland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.
