Baseball Recap: Bishop Mcnamara's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Bishop McNamara's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-9 win over Southern Maryland Christian Academy. The victory was some much needed relief for Bishop McNamara as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Willis Coppedge, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tre Shepard, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bishop McNamara's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
