Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Patrick Henry lost to Richlands back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Rebels walked away with an 8-3 win over the Blue Tornado. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Aidan Monahan was a standout: he scored a run while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Alex Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 6.8 runs this season. As for Richlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will host Virginia High at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richlands, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Rebels at 5:00 p.m.
