The McMinn Central Chargers will challenge the Sweetwater Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McMinn Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season.

McMinn Central proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Sweetwater 8-7. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Ayden Plemons was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Garrett Wilcox, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

McMinn Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sweetwater, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
