Football Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Comes Up Short

Stow-Munroe Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Solon Comets. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Stow-Munroe Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Solon, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stow-Munroe Falls will face off against rival Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Solon is set to take on their familiar foe North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
