Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Crescent Tigers

The Seneca Bobcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 49-33 win over Crescent on Tuesday. The victory was just what Seneca needed coming off of a 53-31 defeat in their prior contest.

Leading Seneca to victory were Savannah Weston and Claire Eavenson. Weston scored 14 points along with eight rebounds, while Eavenson scored 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Weston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Janyce Floyd, who scored four points along with six assists.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Crescent, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seneca will challenge Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pendleton is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Crescent, they will head out on the road to face off against Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Walhalla focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
