Volleyball Recap: Jordan Has No Trouble Against Southwestern Randolph

Jordan had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Southwestern Randolph on Saturday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Jordan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evelyn Greene out in front who had ten digs and three aces. Greene is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya McClain, who had five digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Jordan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwestern Randolph only served four aces.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Jordan has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on the 19th. As for Southwestern Randolph, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Watauga on the 20th.
