Football Recap: Southwestern's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games

Southwestern and Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Southwestern had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 21-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thandon Bensink, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Tristen Gibbs, who rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southwestern fell to 10-1. As for Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As of now, neither Southwestern nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
