Girard won the last time they faced Southeast and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Girard took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Maddie Coester paced Girard's offense, picking up 18 kills. Coester got some help from Emilee Hanks and her 32 assists.

Girard's victory bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Southeast, they dropped their record down to 8-21-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Girard has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Prairie View on the 20th. As for Southeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Crest on the 14th.
