Soccer Recap: Hereford Comes Up Short

Hereford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the West Plains Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in January.

Hereford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Plains, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hereford will host Pampa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Plains, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Perryton at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (West Plains has won five straight at home, while Perryton won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
