Football Recap: Public Safety Academy Plays to a Tie

The Public Safety Academy Phoenix and the East Valley Falcons finished up their contest with a 64-64 tie on Thursday.

Even if neither team walked away with a win, East Valley got some senior leadership from Giovanni Torres and Ramon Palafox. Torres rushed for 127 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, while Palafox gained 178 total yards and five touchdowns. David Hernandez Bautista was another key player, rushing for 91 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.

Public Safety Academy's tie gives them a new season record of 1-0-1. Meanwhile, East Valley's record is now 0-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Public Safety Academy will host West Shores at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alpaugh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
