Baseball Recap: Lake Highland Prep Takes a Loss

Lake Highland Prep lost against Master's Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Master's Academy Eagles.

Lake Highland Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Dugan, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lake Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Master's Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Highland Prep will challenge The First Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Master's Academy, they will face off against Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Master's Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
