Basketball Recap: Barnesville Comes Up Short

Barnesville had lost four straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 6-17 to make it five. They received a blow as they fell 51-35 to the Harrison Central Huskies. The contest was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Shamrocks couldn't quite close it out.

As for Harrison Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Bryson Kamarec had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 62% from the field to rack up 22 points and seven rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2025. Austin Dulkoski was another key player, putting up eight points.

Barnesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrison Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Muskingum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Tornadoes have now posted at least 55 points in their last 15 matchups.
