Softball Recap: Charlevoix Takes a Loss

If Charlevoix was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Harbor Springs on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rayders came up short against the Kalkaska Blazers on Monday, falling 9-1. The Rayders haven't had much luck with the Blazers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Charlevoix's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kalkaska, they moved to 5-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlevoix will face off against Kingsley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kalkaska, they will challenge Lake City at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
