Arbor View had won four straight games and Thaddeus Thatcher did his part to make it five on Friday. The Aggies were the clear victors by a 42-17 margin over the Green Valley Gators for which the team can thank Thatcher, who rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 148 yards and a pair of TDs. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 56 yards.

Green Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Lewis, who threw for 222 yards and one TD, and Evan Williams, who picked up 125 receiving yards and one score.

Arbor View's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Green Valley, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Arbor View has already played their next contest, a 56-55 victory against Desert Pines on the 17th. As for Green Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 31-19 win against Canyon Springs on the 17th.
