Having struggled with nine defeats in a row, Seacrest Country Day turned things around against Parrish Community on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulls.

Seacrest Country Day never let Parrish Community on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Marco Island Academy came up short against First Baptist Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Marco Island Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-11.

Marco Island Academy's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Seacrest Country Day, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
