Boulder City lost against Virgin Valley on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Mya Avila and Ivy Dineen, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Ally Jappe and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Boulder City now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Virgin Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Coincidentally, Boulder City and Virgin Valley will both be playing Mater Academy East Las Vegas the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
