Southern Boone won against Mexico on Wednesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Southern Boone Eagles managed a 59-53 victory over the Moberly Spartans. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Southern Boone has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Moberly, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Southern Boone will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Capital City at 7:00 p.m. As for Moberly, they will head out on the road to face off against Hannibal at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
