Volleyball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pershing County Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Silver Stage was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pershing County's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-18.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Pershing County, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Silver Stage and Coral Academy of Science - Reno will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pershing County, they will be playing at home against Sierra Lutheran at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
