Volleyball Recap: Enka Comes Up Short

Enka managed to slip by T.C. Roberson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jets came up short against the Rams on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Enka ultimately came up short, they really made T.C. Roberson work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 27-25.

Enka's offense was headlined by Kaylee Whitted and Jules Pisano, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Sara Thingvoll and her 23 assists. Sydney Cannon controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Enka's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for T.C. Roberson, their win bumped their record up to 12-15.

Enka has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against A.C. Reynolds on the 2nd. As for T.C. Roberson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Asheville on the 2nd.
