Baseball Recap: Sterling Wins Going Away Against Woodland

It was a proper cat-fight when Sterling duked it out with Woodland on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-1 win.

Sterling has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-19.

Coincidentally, Sterling and Woodland will both be playing Cameron the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Yellow Jackets on Thursday, while the Cougars will head out to face them on Friday.
