Softball Recap: Choctaw Central Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Choctaw Central won against Amory on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 13 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Choctaw Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Amory, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.

Choctaw Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
