Baseball Recap: Nashoba Valley Tech Triumphs

Nashoba Valley Tech hadn't done well against Lynn Vo-Tech recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-8. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered an 8-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Shaun Barrett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and seven unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Nate Galvin was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Beausoleil, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
