Volleyball Recap: Wasilla Comes Up Short

Wasilla was the 1-0 winner over Chugiak when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.

Wasilla now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chugiak, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Wasilla will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Anchorage at 8:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Chugiak, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle River on the 23rd.
