Football Recap: Hazlehurst Indians vs. McComb Tigers
If Hazlehurst was feeling good fresh off their 40-6 takedown of Gentry last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians had to suffer through a 47-14 loss at the hands of the McComb Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Tigers are ranked 33rd).
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed eight in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brandon Haines, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
