Spring Valley hadn't done well against Glenwood City recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Hilltoppers 8-6. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Hilltoppers last Tuesday, they had to take a 12-11 loss.
