Baseball Recap: Galva Comes Up Short

After flying high against Biggsville West Central last Friday, Galva came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Knoxville Blue Bullets by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Bullets earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Galva's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Knoxville, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-22.

Looking ahead, Galva will square off against Peoria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Knoxville has already played their next matchup (against Bushnell-Prairie City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
